Study on sources to gain a better understanding of waste streams available for collection
The findings of the study concluded that the amount of household WEEE sources stood at 1.5 million tonnes in 2019, of which 52% is collected and treated by the authority approved WEEE industry.

In 2021 we launched jedonnemonelectromenager.fr, a new service free or charge to collect large household items from the home, upon appointment, via a platform connecting service providers. We developed this service in order to accelerate the handling of large equipment having a high reuse potential.

In 2021 we wanted to offer a new intermediation service in which we play a trusted third party. Thanks to the quiveutmesdechets.fr solution we enabled those holding household and professional WEEE to contact referenced service providers.

SSE organisations collected 19, 532 tonnes of household WEEE from their 196 collection points in operation.

Other channels collected 176,277 tonnes of household WEEE from their 1,702 collection points in operation.
